Our client is seeking a Systems Analyst in St. Louis, Missouri.
Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing technical expertise and support to the development lifecycles of products and ancillary applications. Focus will be on analysis and creating technical design documents that includes complex SQL, database, tables and other technical details for data warehouse internal reporting projects. Close partnership with developers and business team to ensure that business and functional requirements are aligned appropriately with technologies. Will have strong working knowledge of applications and systems
Major Accountabilities:
- Analyze existing reporting requirements and associated SQL statements
- Translate business requirements to technical reporting design document
- Create conceptual designs and mock up screens as part of technical design
- Ability to analyze and write complex SQL statements as part of technical design
- Perform analysis of system requirements and work closely with developers
- Provide technical support to the business owners during implementation of new reports
- Provide support during system and user acceptance testing for reports
- Collaborate with development staff on software designs
- Prioritize and identify cross application/system enhancements
- Determine development impacts to current processing and work with programmers and users to ensure accuracy of enhancements
- Develop and execute complex test plans
- Create design considerations that assist team with front-end changes
- Lead review sessions of technical requirements
- Manage defect resolution process
