IT Project Manager
The successful candidate, will have the opportunity to work with our client whom is a reputable global provider in integrated pharmacy benefit management, cost management as well as patient-care services worldwide. 12 months contract with potential of renewal. This position is based in St. Louis, MO.
This is an intermediate level IT Project Manager role. You will oversee the overall lifecycle of assigned IT Projects. You will set deadlines, assigns responsibilities, manage resources and project financials, monitors and summarizes project progress. The IT Project Manager prepares reports for upper management and executive teams regarding the project status and raises risks when appropriate.
You work with the leadership team in setting up the Pega COE and will be tracking Pega server builds through our client’s infrastructure processes. Pega experience is not required.
Bachelor Degree in a technical/business related field. 3 to 5 years’ experience in managing either IT infrastructure or application development related project. Must be familiar with Agile processes. Proven ability to manage large scales projects and project lead groups, manage project deliverables, and maintain client relationships Experience in managing budgets, project plans, resource allocations, and priorities. Excellent teamwork, facilitation and negotiation skills Excellent planning and organizational skills Strong Proficiency in MS SharePoint, Word Excel, PowerPoint and Projects applications Demonstrated ability to drive, improve and develop processes Ability to understand strategy and roadmaps of the business teams. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization and be comfortable conducting presentations. Strong interpersonal communication skills – ability to present information to senior management Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, driving performance and executing on deliverables while leveraging collaboration tools and techniques is highly desirable.
