          Description:
          St. Louis Distribution Services LLC is accepting applications for an Area Distribution Manager. STL Distribution Services LLC is the leading distributor of newspapers and periodicals in the St. Louis Metro Area with clients such as the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Investors Business Daily, Wall Street Journal, New York Times and many others. We are looking for a career minded person who possesses a "customer comes first" attitude.
          An Area Distribution Manager acts as a liaison between our company and the Independent Contractors who distribute the publications and ensures that contractual obligations are being met by each contractor. Operating in a depot environment, the ADM is one member of a team of employees who ensure the successful distribution of client publications to customers each morning.
          The ideal candidate will have previous management experience and strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Candidates should possess a strong customer service background and have the skills necessary to interact effectively with customers, co-workers and independent carriers. The ability to work a varied schedule including early morning hours, weekends and holidays is required. Previous newspaper distribution experience is helpful but not required. Must have a dependable vehicle, a valid driver''s license;maintain a minimum state of residence liability insurance and a good driving record.
