Supports large-scale systems projects through operations, performance, testing, manufacturing, cost and schedule, training support, and/or system disposal. Ensures stability, integrity and efficient operation of systems. Applies communication, analytic and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate and resolve issues. Evaluates current systems and works on complex problems where analysis requires in-depth evaluation. Plans large-scale system projects through vendor comparison and cost studies. Conducts open-system architecture assessments. Will assist senior engineers and participate in special projects, as needed.
Candidate should have a familiarity with systems engineering processes such as requirements, functional analysis, allocation, design synthesis, verification, configuration management, trade studies, and/or risk management.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. Systems engineering certification desired (e.g., INCOSE, CISSP).
0-2 years of related systems engineering experience.
