DAIRY FARMERS OF AMERICA Vendor Program Assistant in Springfield, Missouri

Assists in the coordination and organization of documentation for the DFA Vendor Programs. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Vendor Management Software * Work with Corporate Procurement and Technical Services departments, and DFA plants to initiate document requests as part of the vendor approval process * Enter vendor documentation into system * Manage indexes of required documentation; vendor facility and item documents * Manage the DFA Vendor Program Inbox. Monitor percentage to compliance to programs * Create and communicate trend reports of compliance Vendor Information Questionnaires * Ensure that all vendors receive the Vendor Information Packets VIP's. * Ensure that all required documentation is received, as required from the VIP's, in a timely manner and follow-up with any necessary corrective actions. * Work with Vendor Auditors for review of 3rd party audits, corrective actions, and supplier questionnaires * Work with Corporate Procurement to maintain a current list of vendors * Create reports on vendor compliance. * Update VIP packets as required to meet program and or regulatory standards. Assist with Raw Material Specification Management Program as required. Required Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience: * Required- 2 year associates degree in business, computer science or project management or equivalent. Prefer Bachelor's degree. * Experience with supplier qualification programs;TraceGains; Intelex * Previous experience working with food supplier programs. Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Familiar with general food safety principals, HACCP, pest control practices, GMP requirements, organic, kosher and allergen management principles. * Ability to multi-task, work quickly while maintaining accuracy. * Good organizational skills with the ability to schedule and coordinate work assignments. * Work well within a team. * Computer skills- All Microsoft products, familiar with creating and using databases and spreadsheets. * Ability to communicate effectively with vendors to ensure all requests are met in a timely manner. * Good communication skills, both oral and written.EEO/AA/Female/Minority/Disabled/VeteranEmployer's Job# 8391Please visit job URL for more information about this opening and to view EOE statement.
