The Offshore Mutual Fund Product Group is responsible for strategy, consulting, and product enhancement of WFA’s Non-US Mutual Fund and Exchange Traded Fund product suite.

Offshore Mutual Fund Product Consultant:

The Offshore Mutual Fund (OMF) Product Consultant will support the day-to-day product management activities for Offshore Mutual Funds. This position will report directly to the OMF Product Manager and will involve various aspects of product management responsibilities including sales and marketing, vendor relationship management, operations, risk, legal and compliance. The Product Consultant will cover all channels within Wells Fargo Advisors.

Day-to-day responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ongoing product platform support including daily interaction with international financial advisors

  • Coordination with offshore fund partners to solve product related issues and enhance FA and client experience

  • Work closely with internal WFA partners to mitigate risk, problem solve, and enhance relationships

  • Assist in the development and analysis of metrics to identify sales, holdings and risk-related trends across products

  • New product review and approvals

  • Review new fund strategies and present to product committee.

  • Compliance with product policies and procedures

  • Participate in the development of material for training, education and marketing products

This position is located in St. Louis, MO.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of product management experience, marketing experience, or a combination of both

  • 2+ years of financial services experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of mutual fund industry: new product development and the regulatory environment

  • Knowledge and understanding of mutual fund or investment industry

  • Experience consulting with internal clients and business

  • Knowledge and understanding of advisory, new accounts or command operations

  • Knowledge and understanding of portfolio construction: individual securities, pooled vehicles, separate accounts, and alternative investments

  • Ability to create dynamic client-ready investment related PowerPoint presentations including: charts and graphs

  • Ability to identify and assess issues then make sound decisions

  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Customer service focus with the ability to respond to requests in a timely manner

  • Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
