Job Description

Jack Henry & Associates is seeking an entry level programmer who loves to travel to join our iSeries Implementation team. In this role you will travel onsite to various clients assisting with the installation of our core products. You will provide technical expertise and programing support to the team throughout the entire install process. In this role you will be providing programing support for existing software for both internal and external clients.

This role can will be worked out of either Monett, MO or Springfield, MO locations. Jack Henry offers an excellent work environment, competitive benefits package and career advancement!

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 1 yearexperience in programming using any language in a professional and/or educational environment.

  • Ability to work some weekends.

  • Travel required - up to 50%.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a corporate environment.

  • RPGLE, SQL,and CLLE on IBM iSeries OS/400 operating system knowledge and experience.

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree.

  • Knowledge of data reporting tools such as Query.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Consulting with client to design parameter set, assisting bank with validation of data conversion.

  • Willcommunicate with client, application analysts and other programmer team members.

  • Develops programming code for existing software enhancements.

  • Devises block diagrams, logic procedures and prepares flowcharting.

  • Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.

  • Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.

  • Develops conversion and system implementation plans; implements newly created code and fixes into existing software.

  • Provides programming support for various interfaces.

  • Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes.

  • Creates all programming documentation.
