We are seeking a Programmer Analystfor either Monett, MO or Springfield, MO locations. This environment is composed of a small teams but within a large department focusing on RPG or iSeries/AS400 programming for one of the core products supported by JHA called 20/20. Candidates will either be focused on deposit operation applications for Jack Henry’s core platform product called 20/20 or part of an all applications team, mainly focused on customer support and maintenance programming such as bug fixes and troubleshooting. Some customization or new development is required for the products but mostly existing software enhancements. Individuals must be willing to work a rotational on-call schedule and work in team environment.


  • Minimum of 18 months of experience is any programming language.

  • Must be able to participate in an on-call rotational schedule.


  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • Prior RPG Programming or iSeries mainframe related experience desirable.


  • Consulting with client to design parameter set, assisting bank with validation of data conversion.

  • Willcommunicate with client, application analysts and other programmer team members.

  • Develops programming code for existing software enhancements.

  • Devises block diagrams, logic procedures and prepares flowcharting.

  • Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.

  • Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.

  • Develops conversion and system implementation plans; implements newly created code and fixes into existing software.

  • Provides programming support for various interfaces.

  • Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes.

  • Creates all programming documentation.
