          How does someone “break in” to the Management of Fun? They start as a shift leader. Shift leaders are our most responsible hourly staff. These individuals have demonstrated an interest in management and need a little experience to develop into our future leaders.           Requirements:
          The Shift Leader must possess a strong sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including high integrity, respect for all individuals (customers, vendors, and employees), solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation of diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.). The Shift Leader must also have flexibility with scheduling to support the business as extended workdays are frequent occurrence as are nights, weekends and holidays.

          The Shift Leader must be a dedicated team player and a people developer that possesses a strong desire to grow, develop, and become a future Assistant Manager candidate.

          The skills and abilities are normally acquired through the attainment of a High School Diploma and a minimum of one year management experience in a high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue. Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

          LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS: Within 14 days of employment, must become certified in the AMF specified food safety and alcohol service programs.

          PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

          WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a general office environment where typical levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
