CEC Entertainment District Manager in KANSAS CITY, Missouri

You will be responsible for consistently demonstrating the ability to execute to CEC standards, both operationally and financially, and for training, developing and maintaining a high-performance team. This position will be based in Kansas City, MO. May offer some relocation assistance Job Responsibilities:• Responsible for the operational and financial performance of 6 to 10 locations by driving top line sales through consistent operations and flow the profits through to the bottom line. More specifically:• Financial results (Sales & Profit).• Operational standards (Quality product, facility/cleanliness, service/hospitality, Guest relations)• People development (coaching, training, empowering, rewards & recognition for Managers & Cast Members).• Directly managing 2-5 Managers & 1 Technical Manager per location.• Providing locations with functional support and communication link to the Support Center.• Rolling out new programs to each location and be responsible for their successful implementation.• Building morale through performance.• Problem solving any barriers to excellent performance (sales/people/profits).Minimum Qualifications:• A college degree is preferred.• Minimum of 8-10 years related work experience in the restaurant or retail industry.• If a current CEC employee, must be at or above the General Manager level for a minimum of 2 years.• Successfully demonstrated within the Company the ability to excel in the areas of People, Sales, and Profits.Key Competencies:• Coaching and Developing Others• Effective Communications• Sets Vision and Strategy• Two-way Accountability• Problem Solving and Decision Making• Empowers Others• Demonstrates Ethics & Integrity• Values DiversityEssential Job Functions and Work Environment:• Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing 0-50 pounds during scheduled shift.• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk and squat during scheduled shift.• In addition to the essential job duties stated above, the ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others, including guests and co-workers, are essential functions of the job.
