This will include a significant number of diverse relationships, many of which involve large sums of money and complex terms. Many account relationships will require daily activity and frequent interaction with customers in order to properly administer the relationships. This position is responsible for reviewing and negotiating the terms of governing legal documents with some supervision and direction. Must also provide guidance to one or more subordinates to assist them in understanding governing documents in order to maximize the subordinates ability to provide effective assistance to the incumbent. Tasks typically include review and interpretation of complex governing instruments, including contacts. This position is also responsible for handling large sums of money, executing investment directions and assuring compliance with the terms and provisions of a complex array of governing documents and agreements. This position interacts with high levels of government officials, finance professionals, attorneys and corporate officers. The person who occupies this position will be expected to develop new business through interaction with existing customers and through other third party sources.Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.Education: An undergraduate degree is required, with a preference for a degree in business, finance, accounting or public administration. A graduate degree (MBA or JD) is beneficial.Qualifications:- At least two years of work experience in a banking or financial environment is required.- Prior experience in corporate trust administration or or operations is preferred.- Must have a working knowledge of contracts, accounting, investments and general banking and trust matters.- Computer literacy is essential, including strong skills with spreadsheets and data bases, along with intermediate word processing skills. - Experience using spreadsheets to aid in problem solving is highly desirable.- Experience designing applications with spreadsheets and data bases is beneficial.- Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks at any given time.- Will be required to analyze complex situations and work with peers, managers and finance professionals to solve problems.- Strong writing and speaking skills are preferred.
