          Ingersoll Rand Project Developer - Energy in Fenton Missouri United States

          Responsible for leading a team to develop comprehensive large scale energy efficiency and facility improvement solutions to the commercial, institutional and/or industrial market segments. The Project Developer supports the performance contracting sales and project development process with scope development, energy savings analysis, financial modeling, cost estimating and packaging of potential projects for our customer accounts. This position requires both technical aptitude and project management skills.

          -Ability to establish strong teams utilizing both internal Trane personnel as well as external customers and subcontractors.
          -Ability to audit building envelope, mechanical, electrical, and temperature control systems and recommend solutions, operational improvements, and energy conservation measures (architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.
          -Ability to understand construction methods/practices and communicate and direct subcontractors in an effort to obtain budget pricing information.
          -Ability to use appropriate manner, personality, and outlook to effectively work with customers to solve their problems.
          -Knowledgeable and skilled in understanding the performance contracting sales processes and role in developing comprehensive solutions projects.
          -Responsible for preliminary and detailed audit customers from Project Development through project transition to construction phase.
          -Assist and support sales efforts to assist with maintaining customer satisfaction.
          -Support the local office leadership team on an as-needed basis for efforts including training, consulting and business direction.
          -Provide marketplace feedback, including competitive information, customer expectations, industry trends, etc.
          -Provide sound “business judgment.” Weighing risk and reward in conjunction with the local office leadership team.
          -Ability to meet short- and long-term deadlines.
          -Effectively meet the needs of internal and external customers.
          -Ability to work autonomously and dependably.
          -Ability to function in a team environment.
          -Demonstrate ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.
          -Demonstrate ability to perform mental tasks such as making decisions, learning, thinking rationally and exercising good judgment.
