Cargo Claims Adjuster

Randstad is seeking the best and brightest customer service professionals to work in a transportation Cargo Claims department in the Fenton, MO area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a growing company focused on providing the best possible service to each customer. This position will be temporary-to-hire based upon successful job performance.


This position is located close to public transportation lines and offers Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Term Life Insurance, along with 401(k).   • Evaluates agent submitted household goods/non-household goods claims.

-Determines if claims meet settlement criteria.

-Evaluates claims for reasonableness, accuracy, liability, and compliance with federal regulations, operating tariffs, contract provisions, claims policies, and standard claim practices and procedures.

-Investigates and gathers information necessary to allocate settlement to the responsible parties.

-Performs a variety of other assigned duties.

Working Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Pay Rate: $15.00 hourly

Assignment Duration: This position will be temporary-to-hire based upon successful job performance.



-Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in business.

-Uses judgement and draws upon past experience to solve problems and recommended approaches; demonstrates accountability for completing work assignments and meeting deadlines.

-Contributes across workgroups to achieve common goals. Possesses the ability to deal with conflicts.

-Identifies a variety of customer needs and adapts to varied situations to solve problems and deliver timely solutions.

-Highly effective analytical, decision-making, and written/verbal communication skills.

-Must have experience with Microsoft Office, web-based applications such as e-mail, data entry, and navigating multiple screens and systems simultaneously.

-Must submit to pre-employment screenings prior to hire: drug screening and criminal background check.

-Must have reliable transportation.


-Associate's degree in Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant business experience.

REQUIRED PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE in any of the following areas:

Claims Adjuster, Claims Examiner, Insurance Agent, Customer Service Representative
